Our Story
We started Kitchen Chemists as high school seniors who adored baking and science while growing up and wanted to extend our knowledge to kids in a fun way and inspire them to pursue their interests. We are excited to begin our second year of Kitchen Chemists in 2026!
Madelyn Hart

I'm Madelyn Hart, a senior at Lyons Township High School. In fall of 2026 I will be attending Cornell University, studying finance. I love baking, teaching kids science, and am a Captain of my school's Girls in STEM club!
Grace Rhoten
Cofounder and Instructor
I'm Grace, a senior at Lyons Township High school. In the fall of 2026 I will be attending Duke University studying biomedical engineering. I run The Graceful Whisk Bakery, am in student council, and have run cross country for the past four years!
