Our Story

We started Kitchen Chemists as high school seniors who adored baking and science while growing up and wanted to extend our knowledge to kids in a fun way and inspire them to pursue their interests. We are excited to begin our second year of Kitchen Chemists in 2026!

I'm Madelyn Hart, a senior at Lyons Township High School. I love baking, teaching kids science, and am a Captain of my school's Girls in STEM club!

Grace Rhoten

I'm Grace, a senior at Lyons Township High school. I run The Graceful Whisk Bakery and want to pursue engineering in college!
